Summary:
J-Tech is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team.
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operations in our Chester Springs, PA location.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the fields of human resources, recruitment, and employee relations.
The position will be an integral part of the company that ensures employees are well taken care of in all aspects of life while working at J-Tech.
Responsibilities:
Advises management on appropriate resolution of employee relations and administers disciplinary actions and referrals.
Coordinates and administers all phases of the recruitment process including ad placements, selection and interview process, communication with candidates and hiring managers, generating offer and rejection letters, and new hire onboarding process.
Process and monitor weekly payroll for employees through ADP Workforce Now in addition to reconciling all payroll, payroll tax accounts, and employee benefit accounts and provide appropriate reports to management.
Administers and maintains health and welfare plans.
Works with vendor on annual contracts.
Maintains company 401K plan and facilitates employee's weekly deferrals.
Works alongside vendor to ensure compliance.
Coordinates, recommends, schedules, and administers training and development programs for employees.
Oversees the development of new programs and policies to enhance our company's overall culture.
Implements and directs annual review process and assists in wage increases.
Works with management to develop, implement, and maintain personnel policies and procedures.
Maintains employee records including benefits, compensation, performance reviews, termination records, job descriptions, I-9's, etc.
Assists with company event planning.
Education & Experience & Skills:
Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience) Previous experience in human resources preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law related to employment practices and benefits administration is desired.
ERP experience helpful.
Accessible and approachable to all employees.
Contributes to maintaining a positive teamwork environment.
Ability to manage difficult and emotional employee situations, responds to employees request for assistance, maintains confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary is negotiable depending on degree and related experience.
