The Logistics Manager is responsible for overall warehouse operations and inventory management in the UT warehouses and ensuring the warehouses operate at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees.
This position is accountable for ensuring the warehouses operate at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals equipment is received, tracked and documented and available on-time according to project schedules and all warehouses are properly setup and managed.
The Logistics Manager ensures that all warehouse personnel process tickets for equipment and makes sure project-specific orders are sent out with the proper documentation in the most cost-effective way.
The successful candidate must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who is capable of making sound decisions that are in the best interest of the customer, and Unlimited Technology.
Must be able to work safely with a variety of material handling tools and devices.
This position requires passing pre-employment drug screens and background checks.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse workforce of warehouse personnel.
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and delivery partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
Ensure equipment is received in warehouses and confirm shipments against bills of lading and Purchase Orders in the UT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
Ensure equipment is checked against POs.
Manage all inventory transfer in the appropriate UT ERP Systems.
Ensure all material Return merchandise authorizations (RMA's) are returned to vendor and tracked.
Update job notes with tracking information.
Manage inventory levels and inform Procurement Manger when parts are low and need to be reordered.
Perform quarterly inventory counts with Procurement Manager.
Create and maintain appropriate reports for management.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly (Per OSHA limitations).
The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds.
The ability to work in extreme weather.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
RequirementsMinimum associate degree in business operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or another related field preferredMinimum 3 years in a warehouse environment managing hourly employees.
Knowledge of inventory management practices.
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies, including ensuring OSHA compliance and safety.
Proficient in the use of a computer, including Microsoft Office knowledge required.
Knowledge of ERP Systems required.
Experience working with internal/external suppliers and customers.
Strong work ethic and teamwork; can do attitude and desire to provide best service.
Strong interpersonal and communicative skills.
Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
Self-organized, and able to work with minimum supervision.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
