Position
Summary:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Advanced set up and operation of press brake machines (both manual and Cnc).
Duties include loading materials, set-up, (programming may be required if Cnc) and operation of machine, troubleshooting machine issues as well as basic maintenance.
Maintaining a clean work area and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Statement(s) Set up and operate manual press brake machines to meet print dimensions.
Operate Cnc press brake machines, set-up tooling, load program and set machine parameters.
Practice safe work habits at all times.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Inspect finished products and raw materials from time to time to verify conformance to quality standards.
Record information such as the number of products manufactured and tested for quality.
Material handling of raw materials and finished goods may be required.
Must Keep work area and machine clean and organized.
Participates in process improvement/Lean Manufacturing projects when assigned.
Perform Machine Operation Troubleshooting Perform basic machine maintenance as needed Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and minimum of 5 years of machine or automotive mechanic experience.
A two-year degree a plus.
Experience:
Press Brake operator experience is essential, metal stamping and Iron worker knowledge is a plus.
Experience with automated equipment; must have a mechanical aptitude and advanced machine operation troubleshooting and math skills.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Understanding blueprints and operation sheets is a must.
