Market Development Specialist - Assisted Living
Description Market Development Specialist Opportunity ProMedica Senior Care provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.
The Market Development Specialist is responsible for external sales activities to build and grow census, to develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts, and to execute community events for referral sources and customers.
Responsibilities:
Invests a minimum of 90% of work time on face-to-face referral development completing sales calls to physicians, hospital and medical professionals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings, community organizations, and other related contacts.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the buildings products and services, resident care related capabilities and physician relations.
Develops relationships with a growing base of referral sources, leading to a consistent flow of quality referrals to the building(s).
Effectively uses customer relationship management (CRM) systems and tools to manage referral source sales and inquiries.
Works with Corporate Marketing Department, Marketing Communications Manager and MMD in the development of print advertisements, brochures and media campaigns.
Uses sales development systems and tools to manage referral source.

Location 349 - Arden Courts of Wilmington, Delaware Educational Requirements Bachelors' degree preferred.
Considerable experience in a comparable position will be considered in lieu of degree.
Position Requirements 3-5 years of sales experience, preferred in health care services, products or pharmaceuticals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
